1880 Series
Auto-changeover / Distribution Units provide cost-effective signal distribution or allow duplex operations of two 1804s.

The ACU1880 AutoChangeover Unit enables two frequency
reference sources to be operated in a duplex configuration to achieve
high system MTBF in excess of 100,000 hrs(MIL HDBK 217E).
In addition, these units incorporate signal distribution buffers,
thus providing a cost effective multiple output frequency reference
system. The ACU1880 is most often used to combine the outputs
from two Rapco GPS1804 precision frequency reference units, with
the number and type of reference outputs from the ACU determined
by the user's application.

1866 / 1886 Series -- Auto - Changeover / Distribution units

FULLY AUTOMATIC SWITCHOVER FUNCTION BETWEEN A PAIR OF TIME & FREQUENCY SOURCES IN THE EVENT OF SIGNAL LOSS.
BUILT IN HIGH-QUALITY SIGNAL DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION, PROVIDING UP TO 10 FREQUENCY (RF), AND 10 TIMING (1HZ) OR 14 RF OUTPUTS IN 1U OF RACK SPACE.
EACH OUTPUT IS DRIVEN BY AN INDEPENDENT BUFFER, AND INDIVIDUALLY MONITORED FOR SIGNAL FAILURE.
MANUAL SWITCHOVER OVERRIDE.
AC AND/OR DC POWERED FROM TIME SOURCES FOR RELIABILITY AND BATTERY BACKUP POSSIBILITY.

Auto-changeover / Distribution Units allow duplex operation of two 1804s, and in addition provide up to 10 pairs of Timing and Frequency outputs.

Distribution amplifiers for cost effective local distribution of sinewave reference frequency to multiple outputs.

The 900 series line distribution amplifiers have been designed primarily for the
cost effective local distribution of a 10MHz sinewave reference frequency to multiple outputs.

They can also be configured for 5MHz or 1MHz reference frequency.

The 3U high 19" rack mount or free standing case can accommodate up to 30 outputs.

The input amplifier Type 910 conditions the line input reference signal and distributes it to the five distribution amplifiers Type 909, each having six outputs. The 910 has an additional output which can be utilised to drive a second 30-way assembly. All outputs are monitored and an output amplitude fault is indicated by a LED for each output. A composite alarm is provided on the rear panel of the 911 power supply unit.
